NAC: Nederlandse Astronomen Conferentie

The Netherlands Astronomers Conference (NAC) aims to gather astronomers and space researchers who work in the Dutch-speaking parts of the Netherlands and Belgium. One main pillar of the NAC is the presentation of recent scientific and instrumental developments within the community, by way of oral presentations or posters. A second main part of the conference is presentation and discussion sessions on topics important for the community, such as education, science communication and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion. Topical sessions on e.g. data science, AI, or instrumentation can be part of this as well. The last crucial purpose of the NAC is social interaction, providing ample opportunity for colleagues to get to know each other (better), in particular through the traditional pub quiz.

The NAC is organized under auspices of the KNA-RNAS by a Local Organizing Committee at a Dutch or Flemish institute, in a 7 year cycle. Recent locations and organizers are:
