Kees de Jager Prize
The Kees de Jager Prize is an award for a professional astronomer or space researcher who has made exceptional contributions to astronomy education in academia or school curricula in the Netherlands or Flanders.
The award was instated in 2023 by the KNA board, and is named in honour of the astronomer prof. dr. Cornelis (Kees) de Jager (1921-2021) who contributed in many important ways to education in astronomy in the Netherlands. The Kees de Jager Prize is awarded once every three years at the Netherlands Astronomers Conference (NAC).
